Appears to have been compiled by the Richard Heath who was a serjeant-at-law and chief baron of the court of Exchequer during James II's reign. See in particular, leaves 67v and 74v. Includes a few related documents of 1640 and later. Also, towards the end, excerpts from certain trials; the judgments of lord chancellor Hardwicke before the court of Chancery, 1756, and of lord Mansfield before the court of King's Bench, 1758 (published in English reports by Sir James Barrows); the opinions of Charles Yorke, 1764 and of C. Pratt, 1761; and passages from the trial of Sir Thomas Darnell at King's Bench, 1627.
